What is the true story?   Islam is the largest religion in the world, yet most of us know very little about this growing faith.  Come and learn more from two practicing Muslim women  who will share   information and talk about common misconceptions about this world faith.


Let’s Recycle with R3 and CVWMA

Have you ever wondered what happens to your recycling after you take it to the curb? Come learn from the pros at R3 and CVWMA! They’ll teach you what can be recycled, how the process works, and what is made from your recyclables!


Naked Eye Astronomy
Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

See the stars in the night sky as Trevor McGuire, a member of the Richmond Astronomy Society teaches us, young and old, how to view the night stars just using our own eyes. This will be a fun night for the whole family to share .


Train Day
Saturday, November 3, 2018 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
The Ashland Library and Friends of the Ashland Library will celebrate Train Day by hosting a model train exhibit in the library. The popular entertainer, Matthew Dodd, will sing railroad and American hobo songs in the multi-purpose room. Outside the library, the Friends will be offering free cookies and cider to visitors.
