Train Day
Saturday, November 4, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Ashland Library and Friends of the Ashland Library will celebrate Train Day by hosting a model train exhibit in the library. The popular entertainer, Matthew Dodd, will sing railroad and American hobo songs in the multi-purpose room. Outside the library, the Friends will be offering free cookies and cider to visitors. Ashland Library’s Anniversary Open House
Saturday, November 11, Noon – 3:00 p.m.
Celebrate 20 years of library service at 201 S. Railroad Ave. with memories of our “Book Brigade” as volunteers moved the library book by book across the tracks.  Join us at 2:00 p.m. for a special performance of “Two Tellers Telling” sharing library stories of the past, part of “Celebrate!: A Storytelling Series for Adults.”
