July 4th Book Sale
The Friends of the Library biggest annual event is our annual July 4th Book Sale. We hold our book sale during the 4th of July celebration sponsored by the Hanover Arts & Activities Center. The book sale generally runs from 9am – 2pm. (Hours can vary when the 4th falls on a Sunday, so check local listings and signs at the library.) You will find hundreds of pre-owned hardcovers, paperbacks, audio books, movies, and CDs to choose from. Some wonderful bargains are “nearly-new”, some items are antiques looking for new homes. There are treasures to be found for children, teens and adults.
All sale proceeds are to fund programs, equipment, and materials for the Ashland Branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library.
The Friends of the Library Book Sale has become a tradition at Ashland’s 4th of July celebration event. Don’t miss it!
