The Friends of the Ashland Library will have a small Book Sale at Ashland Train Day on Saturday, April 30, 2022! Hours: 10 am to 4 pm (approx.). Our book sale table will be inside The Depot, 107 S. Railroad Ave., next to Ashland Meat Co. (just left of the library). Please stop by! We’ll have a small selection of books for adults, teens and kids for sale at bargain prices. Cash only.
We are sorry, but book donations still cannot be accepted. The books in this sale are from our pre-Covid shutdown stockpile. Read the info below, check back here and on our Facebook page for updates on our book sale situation.
Due to COVID-19-related limitations imposed by the Pamunkey Regional Library, the Friends on-going used book sale has been shut down for the foreseeable future. We are not able to accept donations of used books or other items. If you need to dispose of books or other items, you can take them to Goodwill or another charity shop (call first to confirm they are accepting donations) or contact Junkluggers of Central VA. You can also check with the Friends of the Henrico County Public Library or the Friends of the Richmond Public Library. These groups may be accepting book donations for their upcoming or on-going book sales. Please check back here and follow our Facebook page for updates on our status.
